Energy efficiency can be defined as a reduction in energy consumption, maintaining the same energy services without reducing comfort levels or our quality of life, protecting the environment, guaranteeing supply and promoting sustainable behaviour in energy use. The construction sector is crucial to energy consumption, as it is estimated that buildings represent around 40% of energy consumption, and offer the potential for the development of an energy saving in excess of 20%. We offer consultancy and technical support for the development and implementation of energy efficiency and sustainable energy programmes.

Energy Building Certification IMDEA (Móstoles). In this project we studied the initial data provided by the client. As a result of the study carried out by Acerta Medio Ambiente, the CO2 emissions were reduced in the building to a letter A standard.
With the alternatives that Acerta Medio Ambiente propose, the changes needed are cost-effective in a fairly short period of time, in addition to achieving economic benefits to its installations.
- Installation of 3,3 MW in Tordesillas (Valladolid)
Design and installation of a photovoltaic plant of 3,3 MW nominal ground located in the town of Tordesillas (Valladolid). Project completed in mid-September 2008.
- Installation of 357 kWp.
Design and Installation of photovoltaic plant of 357 kWp on the roof of a factory located in Tarragona. Project in progress.
- Installation of 322 kWp.
Design and installation of photovoltaic plant of 322 kWp on the roof of an industrial warehouse located in Madrid. Project in Progress.
- Installation for production of A.C.S. in Retirement Home (Santiago de Compostela).
Design and installation of 50 solar collectors and a deposit of 8.000 litres of production of A.C.S. through Solar Thermal Energy. Project completed in September 2008. This work was done for Mapfre Quavitae S.A.
- Installation for production of A.C.S. in Retirement Home (Madrid).
Design and installation of 38 solar collectors and a deposit of 5.000 litres of production of A.C.S. through Solar Thermal Energy. Project completed in October 2007. This work was done for Mapfre Quavitae S.A.
- Installation for production of A.C.S. in an apartment building (Madrid).
Design and installation of 14 solar collectors and 2 tanks of 1,000 litres for production of ACS through Solar Thermal Energy. Project is currently in progress.
- Installation for production of ACS, support for underground heating and water heating of a swimming pool in a private house (Madrid).
Design and installation of 6 solar panels integrated into a slate roof and a deposit of inertia of 1,000 litres for production of ACS, support for underground heating and water heating of a swimming pool through solar energy. Project is currently in progress.
